    Garand Site Woes

I was finally able to take my Garand to the range today to work on the rear site. It was iritating. I now know how many clicks it takes (6) to be centered at 100 yards. I can't get the elevation knob to read that amount though. Every time I try to set it and tighten the site, it moves, so I have to start over. Either this is much harder than I think it should be or I am stupid. I would appreciate people not confirming the latter diagnosis.

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.

Have you heard about the new corduroy pillows? They're making head lines!

It's been so long since I set zero I couldn't tell you. I'll try to find my reference book on the M1 and review the process outlined in it.
