Thread: What do you guys think, can this barrel be turned down on a lathe?

    My freind who is a machinist said that there was probably some sort of chemical reaction between the two metals of the bolt and the chamber. If you look at the chamber where the pits are you can almost make out where the bolt was touching the chamber. Theres that small area between the two pits that has no damaged . Its almost like maybe electrolysis took place on the metals
