New Ahrends stocks on S&W 386.

Retro banana stocks in maple with tung oil finish.

If I had a dollar for every time CAPITALISM was blamed for problems caused by the GOVERNMENT, I'd be a fat filmmaker with a baseball cap.

12 string guitars only have 6 extra strings, but they're 85 TIMES as likely to be used in a song about wizards.

I got the model from Bandai.

Will take more pics when I have better light tomorrow.

I expect recoil to be stouter than with the original Pachmayer rubber grips that enclosed the backstrap, but I don't shoot .357 in this gun very often anyway. When I carry this one, it's usually .38+P.

Yours look really nice on that gun, are they Cocobolo?

Maybe. They were on the gun when I bought it.

Lighting isn't great, but here are some more pics:

When the light catches the grain right, they almost have the jeweled look of a nice quilted maple guitar top. You can see it a little in the second and third pics, but it's a little more pronounced in person. It's a subtle thing, not a change in the color of the grain so much as the way the grain reflects light.
