    problem with a S&W model 19 .357

The ejector rod has "gotten longer". I tried tightening it up, made no diff. When you push the cylinder eject button forward, it doesnt completely clear the pin under the barrel. Everything is clean and of course the gun shoots fine. Any ideas? thx in advance

Check that - part #20 is a threaded bushing I think - and it may be stripped on your gun? A replacement part would take care of the fix.

    And to the board BTW

Yes it helped, unfortunatly im not able to disassemble the pistol down far enough to really check it. It appears to be in good working condition, the spring really has alot of strenght to it and all. When I take the right side of the frame off it is under the hammer and trigger assembly(cant seem to get it out). I can see it but not really check it.
