Thumbs up Finally got my stick together

I posted on a few forums a little over a month ago that I was planning on making a RECCE-style upper for my wife. We had both had our stock ARs for awhile now and I decided to switch it up with her (and she said she'd like to get into some mid-range shooting). So I finally got finished with it about two days ago and she looks awesome.

I'm happy with it. Here's a parts list for you spec junkies.
    Del-Ton complete lower
    Del-Ton BCG (planning to replace)
BCM charging handle and gas tube
    YHM low-pro gas block
    Samson Mfg EVO rail
    DD barrel
    Noveske upper
    Millet DMS-1 sight

Why are you planning to replace the DTI BCG? I don't think you'd find any better performance out of any other unit unless you're going to chrome (or some other coating).

The Del-Ton BCG goes to my rifle. It's in the wife's until I buy another for her. I got the gas keys staked in the DTI and I'll probably be keeping it for as long as it goes BOOM.

The gas key on my DTI Bolt carrier was already properly staked. They're supposed to come that way. I hope you didn't pay someone to stake something that's already staked.

He didn't charge me. I asked the guy to take a look at it when he was putting my upper together, and he gave a thumbs up on it.

    Good to hear.

Your wife's rifle is looking good! Now all you need is some BUIS.

Thanks. I'm buying the BCG and bipod before looking into BUIS (since they won't be getting used, I may just throw on a pair of Magpul sights and be done with it).
