    Finally got "Red" home!

My first Ak-47 is a milled Mak-90 made in China by Norinco.

Took her to the range and ran two 30 round mags stuffed with some wolf FMJ and it ran flawless. No oil, no nothing. I have no clue how long this rifle sat in a pawn rack.
    I am a happy camper!!

Added your photos to your post!

Nice rifle that formerly was a Poly Tech Legend that just looked too "evil" for George Bush the First, an idiot if there ever was one, believing that how a firearm looked was enough to cause someone to become a baby killer.

They are great rifles and really nice shooters. ENJOY!!!!

If you decide to return it to it's pre-Bush glory, Ironwood Designs makes a stock set specifically for the milled MAK-90 which has an odd-ball receiver cut in the rear. Also a great friend of mine showed me that the Bulgarian barrels were the same diameter as the Legend, so replacing the ground down sight and gas blocks to regain the cleaning rod lugs and bayo lock on the front sight is fixable.

Thanks, I really enjoyed shooting it today. I think I am going to leave it as is, I like the stock. I am still going to order the Ironwood Design just in case I change my mind....lol.. One thing that really surprise me was the trigger on the gun, it breaks like glass! Its almost like having a custom trigger job.

The Chinese had arguably the best trigger of any commercial AK variant. It is a shame that we have unconstitutional laws that require US made parts if you make any changes to something you own that shall not be infringed. Avoid changing the fire control group at all cost!

"Halfway" unbanned it and traded off for a nice profit.
