    EMP's - Faraday Cages/Shielding

Look what I found on Amazon.com:

Pretty expensive at $144 bucks, but big enough to toss in your cell phones/walkie-talkies/etc...

So, I'm looking further and also found these bags...

These are shielding bags... they look just like the bags that maybe your external hard drive or computer graphics card came in... I wonder if you stuck a cellphone in one of these and fold the edge over and taped it closed if your phone would be protected? (and this hypothesis assumes that the cellphone SAT and ground support is also shielded and operational). I have several of these bags still in the computer boxes from when we initially started our practice 7 years ago and had to buy half a dozen computers.

Stick your phone in one and see if it still works. If it'll block an EMP it should lose signal as soon as you seal it in the bag.

I'm going to try an ammo can and seal it with conductive tape.

This makes me wonder if aluminized mylar would work.
