They don’t look like much right now. The AMMS is one of 700 that made it into the country. It’s built on a matching # NDS receiver and has the correct markings. After I Parkerized it, it will be getting coated with satin black KG GunKote for a military spec finish. The first picture is of 3 of my Parkerizing tanks.
when I get the rifles finished, I will start a thread and post some pictures of them.

Yes. I use it all the time around here.
It's one of my primary survival tools....as well as an everyday tool around the homestead.
I'm thinking of wrapping the grip with 550 cord for some extra grip however.
It gets kinda slick in the winter snow and ice.
Guessing Lagana Tactical from the grip.

What snow and ice? The day and a half of 30 degree temperature you had and the layer of light frost do not count as snow and ice.

My first exposure to it was when I was still in the army.

    No. Not harnessed trained.
I'm still working with one of the youngsters for regular western saddle riding.
The second horse is trained already.
The 3rd is still recovering from an accident a while back.

She got her rear legs tangled in barbed wire.
Cut her down to the bone.
I had a thread about this a while back.
It happened around Sep? last year.
