Dude, I've done over 1000 rounds of 10mm this spring! All in either Starline or Win brass with Berry's 180gr TMJ, Hornady 180 FMJ, or Remy 180gr FMJ. I'm running out of space in the fuse can I've got set aside for them!

And I haven't even touched the once-fired Remy nickel plated stuff I've got set aside.

I see you're using Blue Dot, I got some Power Pistol and am hearing good things about it, though I haven't had a chance to shoot what I've loaded with it. Trying to get rid of the factory CCI and Remy/UMC green box stuff I've got laying around.
How do you compromise with someone when their idea of compromise is to give them what THEY want?

I'm partially to blame for some of that 10mm scarcity, too. Course I had to wait for a month and a half for that 500 bulk box from Starline...

We waited over a year for .380 brass and bullets. The range I hit picks up brass and resells or reloads it,they have one guy that request the 10mm so I don't get that.At least they save us the .44 special .44 magnum, .41 magnum, 44/40 and .45 colt brass.Last trip we collected about 500 of each. All once fired brass.

Sounds like something we do all the time.If you buy it to reload you have to shoot it first.

That's how I started out last winter. Was able to find 50 rd boxes here and there, anything I could get my hands on. CCI, Remy/UMC green box. Then I started finding 100 ct bags around town and started buying that. Picked up about 400 pieces that way before Starline came through. This way I should't have to buy any more.

I have to learn how to reload. I've been saving brass for a while I just have no idea what to do with it. One of you gurus ought to put together a list for a "starter kit" for us newbs.

    Check out newbieAK's thread.

And abpt - have you tried rnfp boolits in the 10mm yet? These are the ones designed for the 38-40 - 180 grians. They work will in mine (G20 with Storm Lake barrel).

Actually, I was thinking more of this one:

Round nose flat point. Has the same basic profile as a rounded ogive hollowpoint.

Oh and I was also wondering if you've tried Power Pistol. I've just started checking it out...

I've been using PP. Haven't had a chance to get out to shoot it yet to test it in my Delta. Too many other things to occupy my time right now, like the new Remy R1 I just picked up. I may get a chance this next week, depending how things work out, I'll let you know how it does*.

*I don't have a chrony, yet, to tell what the MV is.

    Cool.

Its supposed to be a good propellant for the 10mm - at least accurate - maybe not top velocity...

I was told when I got it, since everyone was out of Bullseye, that for magnum (.41/.44 mag) and high performance pistol (10mm) loads Power Pistol was the way to go. Don't know yet if that's true or not, but we'll see I guess.

New at reloading here. Starting out with the Hornady Lock-N-Load system. I have only loaded up 458 Socom for my RRA rifle and !0mm for my Glock 21 with G20 barrel. Is it normal for the brass to get dented on ejection (did not do this in .45) or am I loading too hot? Load is 8 gr of Power Pistol under 200 grain bullets.

I just looked at my Hornady manual. It lists Power Pistol powder in the 10mm with a 200gr. bullet. The range listed is 6.0 grains (850 fps) to 7.6 grains (1050 fps) with an overall cartridge length of 1.260". You might want to back of a little bit and see what kind of results you get. Just my $0.02.
