What Does It Cost to Hunt In Your State?

I am in Washington. It has been years since my schedule provided an opportunity to go out. I was thinking of doing some pheasant hunting as I really enjoy that. Here is what it would have cost me.

    License - $38
    Upland Bird Stamp - $92
Vehicle permit - $14 (allows you to park on public lands)

Total - $144 just to go pheasant hunting.

If I decide to go deer hunting I add another $42.20

    A turkey tag is $17.30

State migratory waterfowl stamp is $12.50

Federal duck stamp is another $15.

When did it get so expensive to hunt?

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.

I can't believe that PA is more reasonably priced for hunting than WA!

I live in California, how much is it out here? I've never been. The last gun I shot was a paintball gun; which isn't too bad by the way.
For the best herb tea companies and sites check out: Lavendar Tea Buy Licorice Tea, Organic Linden Tea,Buy Milk Thistle Tea. The health benefits of drinking a plant based tea are amazing.

If I hunt my own land... Zip - no license required. This is Mississippi - "Sportsman's" license (hunt and fish) is $35 last I checked.

    brobrandy!!

Do some research on hunting clubs or private land in Cali.
Try and find some hunters that will help you get into the sport.

I don't remember the liscensing fee's, but depending on what you hunt it can be pretty reasonable. Boar tags are always cheap down there.
