Can you give us a pic of the head stamp?

It says "TCW" on top and "7.62X39" on bottom.

It's Russian export ammo before the trade name Wolf was invented. It should be noncorrosive. It's value, what ever 7.62x39 is running these days is what I'd say it's worth as it is of comperable quality. Say .20 cents a round.

Yep, basic steel case rusky ammo - going price - this is kind of like gold and silver - goes up and down with the market - right now, we are at somewhat of a "low" in pricing, but that could change...

Given it's age, I would say that it probably was purchase for no more than $2.99/box originally and maybe less.

When the guy first bought them, he paid about 6 bucks a box for them. I traded some reloading equipment for 700 rounds. Never would have used it, and I know i'll deff use up the ammo.

Wow...that takes me back. That was the first non-Chicom 7.62x39 I acquired. Except all the head stamps were Cyrillic....

Some of it has been reported as being at least mildly corrosive.

I've been running Tulammo ruskie ammo through my ak's only had a couple of
fail to fire. 300-400 rounds not very dirty at all. on the other hand. Wolf military
classic runs nice and shoots consistantly with very few flyers.
    Just me and my monkey....
