Question Looking for info on Beretta milsurps

Ran across an estate sale/auction that has listed (description only, no photos yet) a BM-59 as being made in Italy but assembled by Springfield Armory. Says it's got a bipod, GL, FH, bayonet lug, factory 20rd mag, new but new box.

A BM-62, says made it Italy but with Danish markings. Configuration is pretty much the same as the 59 but it's missing the magazine, not sure on condition.

Lastly is a Beretta M1 Garand also with Danish crown.

    My questions are as follows:

What's the difference between the BM-59 and 62?

How hard would it be to find a mag for the 62 and or the 59 and are they the same?

What's a ballpark value on each of these three rifles? TIA

ON condition. I'd place the BM-59 or 62 anywhere from $1100 to 2100.
the Garand about $700-1200 pending how nice it is.

Gotta shop around for mags, they are out there BUT $$$ $100-120 each pending condition.

Mags were the only thing that kept me from buying a paratrooper model a few years back.

On the bright side, THeres lots of parts kits out there if you would need replacement parts.

    Thumbs up

Thanks for the reply. I did find a few photos and the 62 really, really looks like the Garand. Stock and front end are about identical. The BM-59 has a different look to it. The Garand is still there but a little more subtle than the 62. So the 59 and 62 use the same mags?

    yes.

I like the 62 look better myself.

some I've seen online were more $$$$$$ but came with more mags/accessories. so for every mag one comes with subtract each one and that's the base price.
IE: If a rifle comes with 6 mags.. that's basically another $600-700 not coundting IF it has a bayo/bipod and grenade launching parts.

I just check my SGN that came yesterday.

Sarco has mags $49 a piece and 3 for $139 IIRC.

    Wink

The mags are built like a brick shithouse, like a slabside AK mag.
Here's to pussy and gunpowder. One to live for, the other to die by.....Goddamn though, I do love the smell of 'em both !!!
