Feeding a Mosin Nagant Revolver alternant ammo

I've been wanting to get one of those russian revolvers but the ammo is hard to get where I live(Hawaii) but now have heard that you can use .32 H&R mag or .32 S&W longs in the gun. Has anyone tried this?

you can use .32 s&w long, I've never heard anyone say the h&r mag is OK though.

Keep in mind you will swell the cases, when I tried some of them split and none of them would have been reloadable.

yes, and it would be incorrect to call it a "mosin nagant" revolver
