Well, I've never used the particular brand you mentioned, but I do have a peep sight on my Yugo SKS (in place of the leaf... not at the rear of the dust cover). The peep sight is VERY easy to use... easy on the eyes and very accurate.

Looking at the design of those "Tech Sights", it seems like a very good, simple and sturdy part.

If I needed one, I'd probably buy it.

I have the tech sights on my 10/22 and they are awesome, much better than the stock sights. I have mine set up to shoot 100 yds with the use of a loop sling and if you do your part you can get some really nice groups with the help of these sights.
