The Iraq war was tragic, everyone thought that victory would be swift, and it looked that way too, with the way that the Iraqis welcomed us with open arms. It's time to let the Iraqis fend for themselves; two faced pieces of shit.
Why's everybody so bummed?
This wasn't a defeat.
We depossed the bathist party in a matter of weeks.
We killed so many bad guys that every liberal on the planet started their period simultaneously. Iraq was like a roach motel for dumb foreigners. "Hey Appu, lets go cross dicks with the most powerfull military in history." "Great idea Hamzi, I'll go gas up my international scout. You call the boy's and round up some rusty shit guns and a few ski masks, there's no way this can go wrong!" You know these guys have to be a little short on brains. Who wears a ski mask in the desert? The same kind of guy that picks a fight with our armed forces. Dumb.
Our desert meatgrinder had Al Queda so desperate and frustrated that they pulled some really stupid shite and completely alienated the locals. "We must kill you all to save you from being killed!" No wonder the non-ski mask wearing contingent got sick of them.
Sadam's dead. The Iraqis can sweep their own front yard. And Al Queda is no longer welcome in their house.
What else are we supposed to do over there? What objectives should we still pursue? Should we annex Iraq? Who the hell would even want that?
It's time to bring our boys home. They've earned it.
Bummed? I'm not bummed I'm fairly happy, granted I think we were there alittle too long (would of started leaving after Saddam was caught) but over all I'm fine with the pullout and think our troops did good.
I'm just pissed off at obummer's lack of spine. He completely gave away the farm after all of the blood sweat and tears that went into Iraq. We should have told them in no uncertain terms that they will give our troops imunity and then told them when we would be leaving if ever... this is BS.

I predict in 6 months unrestrained civil war starts with the Iranians instigating most of it. I'm glad our troops are coming home, shoulda bombed the hell out em, invaded, got Saddam and went home. Glad GW said in the debates he wasn't going to nation build.....
Frankly if we're going to expend our blood and treasure, we should be taking the damn oil for free.
