    Amazing miniature city in Germany

I know, we've seen a thread on this before, but I think this is a NEW promotional video with an English speaking (sort of) narrator.

Gotta love those GERMANS. They have an eye for detail and engineering

Some of the scenes REALLY LOOK REAL from the camera perspective and the lights in the night shots are pretty COOL!

500,000 hours to build it? That's all? 1300 square meters with all that detail, man that's only 384 hours to create each square meter... that's only 48 eight hour days to create each 1 meter section.

I'm very impressed, even though multiple people had a part in making it, I'd have guessed it took a lot longer than that to create it.

That's like more than 55 years, seems pretty do-able.

Did you notice the van that was bouncing up and down with a squeaking noise? Only the Germans would have some couple doing the 'nasty' in the back of a van for a "Kids" display

Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.

It's the Christmas season. And yet, the asshole comments increase. Weird, huh?

But seriously, If posters can't recognize when they make assholish comments (which is kinda common) then the problem is theirs. It just seems like guys are being inappropriate more than usual. Not that they don't have the RIGHT to be raving assholes. But come on. They have to be man enough to take it when called out on it For the record, most of y'all are man enough to be assholes, be proud of it and don't take deathly offense when challenged on it.

That is cool. If I ever happen to be in Germany I will make it a point to go and see that. I would have to find the penguins at the train station. I laughed when I saw that.

Wish I could see that whole clip (dial up) I really like that miniature stuff.
In fact here's a pic of a pic of some Colorado property I did for a guy about 35 years ago

It's sitting on the tailgate of my truck before I delivered it to him.
Just bored thought I'd throw it in the mix here

It seemed like they were saying that was part of the fictional town of Knuffington, the building shown at 1:24-1:26.

With parapets on either side and a central dome it does look alot like the Reichstag which of course had the famous fire in 1933.

The building shown is certainly different, but it does bear a fairly similar appearance

    Goering had one too:

It even had a little Stuka on a string that flew down and dropped a bomb, probably on some Polish or Russian village. That's fatboy grofaz himself standing in the pic.
