Didn't get any guns for Christmas this year. Though I was walking the dog the other day, and a neighbor told me that he had a compact pistol that he wanted to sell.

That's what we had last night (only bone-in) - man was that good! We bought the roast and my daughter prepared and roasted it with rosemary and some other herbs - was delicious!

Today - we are at my wife's folks and duck is on the menu! Another of my favorites

Yep a little S&P, 450 for 20 minutes. Then slow and low for the next 2.5 hours.

    What a beautiful roast!

I've never done the sear but will next time. I also like what you have going with the onion and carrot. That's gonna smell up the house in a wonderful way.

    Merry Christmas!
