Winch on 4 wheeler won't work

Sure as you know it. I put the snow blade on the 4 wheeler. It worked two weeks ago. Today I go out to plow the driveway. Winch won't work. Dead. It is a warn winch. Any ideas?

I'm assuming everything else works with no issues? Does the power on those have an inline fuse? I'll have to look at mine when I get home.

Yes, everything else works. I checked the fuses under the front cover. I will look for an inline fuse. Pisser. My arctic crap 4x4 is 12 years old. Only has 475 miles on it. Last year I FINALLY got the plow for it. First snow, and it's dead. The 4x4 has always been garaged. It's always something.

The accesory fuse is good. When I giggle the wires, spooling out seems like it wants to work. It'll click but not spool out.

I took the switch off, the wires were/are a little rusty corroded. I loosened them up, and it appears to be working. But now I have to take the cat/dog to the vet, so won't be able to mess with it for another hour.

Clean all electric contacts, apply di-electric grease, re-assemble.

Yes they can be a pain. It's usually a loose or dirty connection. Unabashed pool porn!
