I keep hearing this but really don't get this, economically Romney (Mr Pure capitalism) is 180 out from any of obama's stances (Mr Socialist). Granted they both might be big gov't types but in economic terms Mitt might be the most capitalistic person running this cycle if not in history. Atleast economically they are very different (and economics might be the thing that elects one or the other this year).

Would a pure capitalist be a benefit to our situation?

Any other agenda Romney would have, contrary to the Constitution, would be checked by repub majorities in both houses, hopefully. The Senate seats up for grabs (23 dem, 10 rep), will really decide our fate, but we still need someone at the helm who doesn't have his hands in his pockets!

Truthfully I'm not sure either has what it takes to solve our problems, Mitt's policies might just crash the system faster which wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.

#1 He could forget a second term.
#2 The House and very likely the Senate would never pass it, especially controled by Republicans.

And #3 People would not just give them up or stop building them.

Can't say as I like the guy or am real enthused about him but hey wrapping it up quick is better than a long drawn out primary fight that burns up resources and creates animosity.


Obama has a big warchest already and no primary fight on his hands.


If it's Romney it's Romney now let's get over it and keep our eye on the prize.
