Tn Lawmaker drafts warning after TN woman arrested in NYC

The woman arrested should have known better than take a handgun to NYC and especially the World Trade Center Memorial, regardless of her having a TN carry permit. She thought she was doing the right thing by turning in her handgud to a policeman after seeing the sign that said, "No Handguns Permitted".

Now a TN lawmaker has more or less sent a message to the Mayor of NYC.

New York drivers might want to be careful in Tennessee. A state lawmaker is suggesting they might find themselves with a speeding ticket, all because of a gun permit holder's arrest at the 9/11 memorial.

Lawmakers have a tongue in cheek warning for New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg - don't mess with Tennessee permit holders, or else.

Let me see here. A charge for talking with a funny accent, for not eating right, for driving like a New Yorker, for not having a Tennessee drivers license, ah shucks let your imagination roll. It doesn't matter if the charges get thrown out of court they still have to spend their money for a local lawyer. If they bring in a New York lawyer the fine doubles and they are automatically guilty. If their lawyer protests he gets to spend 30 days in jail for contempt of court and Mayor Bloomberg gets a warning to stop sending trouble makers to Tennesse.
