    Want to get grossed out?

    From a friend.

What does this picture tell you? My doctor has had this "processed food" on her counter ever since 2010 and 2011 respectively. I asked her why she had it out, she stated "to show people what they are putting into their bodies". This is man-made "processed food", not real food. Over time real food will decay, grow mold and produce a decomposing odor. This "processed food" has not done any of that, matter of fact it has kept it's original size, shape and texture. Your body has to work harder to breakdown and digest this stuff over real food. Since I've seen this, I have not had any fast food. #tyingtolivebetterin2012

I find it really hard to believe. Call me a skeptic but I call BS on this one.

I have NEVER seen a bread product that would not mold over a short period of time.
I'm calling the Dr. out on this one.

It seems on youtube right now there's atleast half a dozen people all with McD food items on a shelf above their computer...

Seems like a cheap test to replicate if there's doubt.

I read, somewhere, that the human body takes longer to decay now, than it did 100 years ago, because of all the preservatives we eat in our food. I've seen similar pics of this in some of the science mags we read in school.

At the very least, this food should stay with you longer when you eat it.

Fact: When I was working for the water company in Bolingbrook Illinois it was taking longer for the waste matter to decompose before we could dispose of the solids and return the waste water to the river. That was 30 years ago and it has to be worse now than it was then.

I believe it because we've done such experiments. I have a half a chicken sandwich from McDonalds that me and some coworkers put in a drawer at the office in 2003. It even had the receipt with the date. When I got laid off in 2010 it was still in that drawer and looked exactly the same. I will check if it is still there next time I go in since I still contract for them occasionally, but I rarely go to that building. My kids also tossed a Little Debbie treat (some sort of chocolate cake thing) on my driveway a few years back, it melted just a little (100+ summer heat!?!?) but not even the ants would eat it, and we have a zillion ants that eat anything. I had a jr. high school teacher who had a twinkie in his class room and it had been there for 10 years. Looked fine. My kids want to try the experiment at home and see how long we can keep some chicken nuggets.

Ezra, my wife said that there was only one way to determine if it was true. Thing is. There is no place to put a burger around here. Cats would/might get to it.

My wife and I haven't had McDonald's or anything of that ilk in probably a year. We were actually talking about going this week. Thank you for the post and the reminder!

Some years back, when fast food was significantly cheaper, we put away $23.00+ worth of it one lunchtime at Jack In The Box. That shit was delicious, but our bodies are probably still paying the price for that binge.

Plastic roof, plastic clown, plastic spoon, plastic table, plastic food container, plastic coffee cup and plastic food. You will be easy to find. Just look for the place full of plastic crap that can't be flushed and won't decompose in the outhouse.
