    Needs help.. hit with System Check...

    Barf.

    Anyone know how to get rid of this stupid fake scan/scam System Check ???


    Spybot S&D wont pick it up.

    tried it in safe network mode.. no luck.

    If superantispyware don't nuke it, try malwarebytes.

    Both superantispyware and malwarebytes have been in my security regimen for some while.

    If You lost any files or programs there is a link on bleepingcomputer.com to a utility that will restore them. it is at the end of the page that instructs how to use Malwarebytes to recover from the virus

    Avast is my main antivirus...superantispyware and malwarebytes are for occasional scanning just in case anything slips by the rest of what I run.
