Funny, but OK is closer to the Atlantic. The 'krauts' would have had a better shot at it, but then unlike the Japanese, THEY didn't have flat tops.
Boy, those were the days of great tv. Drinking booze, smoking, and great one liners.
I saw George Goebel live when I was a kid back in the 60's w/ my dad & brothers. The guy was incredibly funny...I remember laughing so hard my sides were hurting. Even @ the age of 12 or so, I could tell the guy had real talent. People like him, Dino, & Hope just don't exist anymore.

That was back when late night shows were funny. Seen Letterman, or Leno lately? After their jokes section its pretty much downhill.
