After today, it's all historical.
Hillbilly suppressor?
It might! Thanks Steve. I will turn this over to my machinist buddy and see if it is what he needs.
LOL Nope! It is actually for making an aluminum or plastic piece that you screw onto the bottle to make it a float for turtle fishing, trotlines, etc.

the thread pitch is prob nothing special, the hard part, imo, is going to be the thread form.
Yes. The person who's name I fail to remember duct taped a 2L bottle onto the end of an SAR-1 muzzle and figured the bullet would just exit the bottom of the bottle (no need for alignment then). When this anonymous person who's name I fail to recall pulled the trigger, the 2L bottle disappeared and we thought it got blown off and forward. But then we found little sharp shards of green plastic all over (including some stuck in our shirts and hair). The bottle shattered into a million little pieces.
So, the anonymous person who's name I fail to recall decided not to bother trying that trick again.
He did, however, have a lot more luck with a long lace from an old ice-skate and a keyring...

Its been thought of before.
Ya get 3 shots, then you change it out for a new bottle and start a new.
OH YA, BTW its not a silencer its a protective cap for cleaning your barrel, so your brush and patches don't spray oil out everywhere
OH and NO the bottle doesn't shatter from the pressure, but how would I know -- Oh a friend did it once.
