I'm really enjoying Weber's Safehold series.
If I had a dollar for every time CAPITALISM was blamed for problems caused by the GOVERNMENT, I'd be a fat filmmaker with a baseball cap.

12 string guitars only have 6 extra strings, but they're 85 TIMES as likely to be used in a song about wizards.

I like big 'bots and I cannot lie...
I got the model from Bandai.

Currently going after a Creative Writing degree. I have several story lines and think I finally figured out a way around time travel paradox, had a dream yesterday morning and cranked out the basic idea in about 40 minutes. Showed it to the wife and she took a chainsaw to it

Let me get a little more developed, and focus on this fiction writing class, before I unleash myself upon the world, again!!!
The time travel paradox I so want to hear about. Did your wife slice it into a rewrite/ rethink/ oh that's not gonna work or what? LOL
We'll be waiting. You could be the next Asimov or Niven. We can only hope.

One of the first sci-fi movies I remember seeing in a theater was 'This Island Earth'

Think it dates somewhere around '53.

Thought it was the best movie I had ever seen.
