That sub doesn't look like any Russian design I am familiar with, but I am no expert by a long shot. China has built their own subs in the past, but they seldom leave port due to the same reasons as most Russian naval seldom go blue water: reliability. We may have seen Chinese sub activity in the launch of the missiles from the gulf and off the kali coast a while back. They're testing us apparently. They were smart and made sure the missiles flew away from the coasts not towards them. Don't want to start ww3 before everyone's ready, right?
