Question Why is it Easier to Believe...

    Damn good question.

Meanwhile, Idaho Republicans voted to shut down the Occupy Boise encampment.

A Federal judge has intervened and stopped the police from enforcing the ban, so we'll see how that plays out.

Why do conservatives hate free speech so much?

Because I bet we all know multiple people who could work and earn a living but instead set home and collect a government check. I think we are getting sick of people who continually set around and demand more and more be given to them.

It's easier to believe that a few thousand of you little socialist are being greedy for something that isn't yours, than it is to believe the lie that 150 million Americans are lazy. What a crap you little piece of crap. More out right lies and propaganda from our not even favorite little marxist.

Because of the FACT that the top 10% of wage earners already pay 85+% of the tax revenues in the country and because of the FACT that 49.5% of the people in this country pay $0.000 dollars in Federal Income Tax every year. That's your 150,000,000 right there.

I think this is a big part of the problem. The ruling class oligarchy has the middle-class so concerned with what the scraps that the lowest rung is getting, it takes the focus off the very real hogging of resources the top 1% are taking all to themselves.

And the rich are laughing all the way to the bank.

You know you seem to be just stiring the pot on purpose lately. I could ask the same thing about liberals. I am noticing a disturbing treand from both the republicans and the democrats when it comes to free speach.

I think you are taking the fact that their camp is being shut down as a supression of freee speach. I am guessing here but it is probably comming about as a result of the ocupiers bad behavior. I don't know how the one in Bosie is but there have been problems at many of these other camps.

This is the main flaw I see in communist socialist thinking. You guys act like wealth and resources are a finite item. I don't think that they are, so when you people act like people aren't getting their fair share of a limited pie I have to ask myself why don't we just make more pies?

How far does a society and it's people have to fall to consider people keeping what is rightfully theirs as being "greedy"?

Well, let me tell you a little bit about Occupy Boise. It's one of the most well-behaved demonstrations in the nation so far. They've never baited the police, never blocked intersections or other in-your-face civil disobedience that begged police response. In fact, their only "crime" is simply having a presence on state land and making their voices heard. They even respected the government's wishes and erected their camp on the OLD Courthouse lawn (a building not used any more since they built the new Ada County Courthouse several blocks away 10 years ago.)

Of course, this peaceful protest may all change if the police initiates hostilities against them, but they won't be the ones "firing the first shot" so to speak.

Well, we are. Thanks to millions of working people in this country (including most of us here on this board I suspect), the economic pie is growing every year, with a few hiccups during recessions and what not. The problem is, the vast majority of the newly created wealth (created by workers) is being unfairly distributed primarily into the hands of the ultra-rich.

If it were a case of 99% of the people getting 99% of the new wealth, there would be no argument. The problem is, the top 1% is hogging over 50% of all newly created wealth in this country. That is a real problem. And its only getting worse with time.

And you can lay the blame for that inequality right where it belongs....
And if there is any inequality in America, it's right there.....

    The problem with....

these people is they have no idea what "work for a living" is. They, from their appearance, aren't employable so they want everything given to them. If they had a job, they would not be in this protest in the first place, they would be at work.....chris3

I don't really know about 150,000,000 or 400 being lazy or greedy, but i do know about one that's just plain stupid or dishonest.
History has a severe case of stuttering complicated by chronic hiccups.
It always repeats itself and it never fails that something will go horribly wrong along the way.

Direct democracy is a gang rape. Eight men vote to rape one woman and the woman has to accept it because the majority decided that it was ok. A constitutional republic on the other hand is eight men and one woman with a full mag. Think about it for a while until it hurts your head.

Here's the flaw in your character. Most people with "wealth" don't get it, they earn it or otherwise attain it through invention, investment, business venture, talent, occupation, etc., but they don't just "get" it.

Again, how is someone "hogging" something that is theirs? It surely isn't yours simply because they have it and you don't.

There are a few reasons why. One is real Americans aren't Soros funded and controlled commie bastards. Another is they're too busy living life, going to work, taking care of their household and family to run around in a park acting like it was Woodstock all over again. Perhaps if Soros funded American families he might get support, at least untill they realise he means to sell their liberty.

This country was set up to allow you to earn or make as much money as you wanted. Want more? Work harder. Don't like working for someone else? Start your own business.

That used to be the American way.

Now those of us who work to pay our taxes are called greedy because we want to earn enough to enjoy life?

As been said many times, you don't like it here in the United States of America, formerly known as the land of the free, home of the brave, please feel free to leave immediately.
