What ever happen to J.A. Freeman? He was the AK ammo expert back when. I sent him several of the ammo boxes displayed. I think he lived Vermont or New Hampshire.

While no one ever listens to me,
I am constantly being told to be quiet.

You'll have to find it from a non-dealer source. It has been banned as armor piercing handgun ammo since Olympic Arms sent in two AR pistols chambered in 7.62x39 to BATF for approval. That was in 1993. 20 years later all that there is in the country is all that there will ever be. In as much as it is not hardened steel, it really doesn't have much more punch to it than lead core. IMO it isn't worth the premium to buy it when you can find it.
