comes with a rock solid mount too.only 1 shitty low cap mag.............its in like new cond. wwouldmake agreat platform for a ak74 type rifle.iv got the 308 already.whats required to use cheap mags?i dont have the moneybut could part with my remmy 1100 for most of the cost.barrel is pretty short (16"s) maybe
after the remmy is gone u'll still need to trick out that saiga. deal like that aint for me.
Ammo is cheap dont know about he mags but my guess is u should be able to install bulletguide and use commie mags if the magwell doesnt need modding

Mine ran fine on surplus mags without a bullet guide. I did add one though.
I've run most all surplus mags without a guide with a 100% outcome.
Russian poly,Bulgie poly,Polish poly,Polish steel,Romanian steel,East German.
Be carefull,use of "hi-cap" mags and 14 imported parts is a "no-no".
A conversion is very easy with simple tools.
i was actually thinking if i did the conversion and used tapco mags id be good on the 992 stuff,id want to keep the saiga forearms as i think thewy look cool.i was hoping to get a lil more feedback on this thread.do wehave a saiga forum?
Go to the Build it Yourself forum in the AK forums - there's a Saiga conversion thread started with a video link to the how-to. Its a piece of cake.
