    Compact 'survival' bag?

As a motorcyclist, I don't have the luxury of a lot of 'store it and forget it' cargo space... I'm considering building a 'survival bag' of sorts that I can fit in my saddlebag with my rain gear, but space would be at a premium.

I'm working on my own list, but I'd like some external input before I post anything.

    LOL!

I think you need to put a little more thought into it yourself.

What the hell do you plan to "survive" on a motorcycle?

Zombie Apoc? Or a flat tire?

Are you buggin' out/in or just want to live through a 'bike jacking'

Seriously, we need more input as to your ideas of what a survival bag's contents should be? Otherise, I'm gonna tell you to buy extra batteries for your cell phone, add a small flashlight, throw in a .380 w/ xtra mags, and to keep some hidden cash, just in case.

This looks like a very well rounded bag and pretty tiny as well. Expensive buy you get what you pay for.

How about the theory of 'Improve my odds as much as possible, for any event, up to a zombie Apocalypse, in the space allowed." I'm less concerned about short term comforts, and more concerned about any event that keeps me from getting home for over 24 hours.

Not sure just how big your saddlebags are but the bag in my link fits that bill perfectly
