I got one from j&g about a year ago, and within 50 rounds the trigger guard retaining pin came out, and the trigger guard started falling out. Sold it, and informed the buyer, who told me later he removed the pin, cleaned it, and it was fine. Oh well. It was for ccw, and I need a gun I can have confidense in. Thats why i got a bulgy mak....

Mine wasn't C&R when I bought it but some are now.
If you don't have a Makarov yet I'd say do the Mak first.

Got two before the C&R ruling. Grips too long from front to back for my hand, exaggerated recoil, can't find extra mags, horrible DA pull and Brown Bear ammo unreliable.

I have two of them. both of them are reliable with wolf and the DA trigger pull did improve after a few hundred rounds. but it’s still not smooth. I collect the polish stuff, so they where a must have for me. but I would not want to be caught in a firefight with one.
