    I think you nailed it! The SGL-31 is a civilian variation of the famous AKM, and since it is one of the few Russians allowed into the land of shall not be infringed, you found the right place.

    Soooo, you have one you would like to brag about? We like when people brag about their Russian toys... or any AK/AKM variation for that matter...or any firearm for that matter!

    Yes I most certainly do. After having owned both a Bulgarian and Polish Tantal, I decided to go for an Arsenal Inc. SGL-31. I wanted something to pass down to my son some day. Best rifle I've ever owned. And I have had alot of rifles, M16 platform included.

    I have been wanting one of these rifles for my new 74 variant.

    Is yours the fixed stock or the folding stock model?

    I had an SGL-31. I liked it quite a bit. I may buy it back from my friend whom i sold it to.
