I have just reread these pages and find it kinda comfortable that we remember these men and women in this fashion.

Wade “Gibsonite” Austin passed away from a stroke on 8/26/16.
For peace of mind, resign as general manager of the universe
Wasn't it Gibby and another user that kept the old road house in hysterics all the time?
No enemy of America would have ever been killed if they didn't show up to be killed. HDR
Yes indeed along with a few others
For peace of mind, resign as general manager of the universe
RIP TheMrMitch...
Found out recently that he passed away a couple years ago...

There are some things I will not abide within my sight!
A memorial will take place for Larry Mitchell at the Knob Creek range during the second weekend of October.
That had to be pretty cool
I hear this October will be their last
I remember when Cevulirn was couch surfing on his motorcycle trip
TheMrMitch was his stop in Kentucky before mine.
He was in pretty rugged shape but recovered well here after a good meal and some sleep
In fact here's Cevulirn
and his bike at Knob Creek
Had scroll past N/A's post
I'm guessing he's gone now too
His last post was 12/2/2019 and that was to say good bye
For peace of mind, resign as general manager of the universe
Been a while since I read through these, many years ago, brings tears thinking of all the good one no longer here, old age does that to you, its the price you pay for getting old, watching people better than you die, Godspeed to every one here in your journey. Be true to yourself, your god and your country
SADLY now we add Rusty to this list....

Thank you all for putting this thread together. I sure miss the good old days of Gunsnet. Anyone heard from or know anything about HDR?
I'd like to know that too, we had many many arguments but I knew he was a good guy, I was always the devils advocate when it came to posting. Wish I still had that. Redstar was the one that totally connected with me, a few I still am connected to personally and you guys know who you are, I still have photos of Rick and his wife along with a couple of his rifles he sent to me, One was personally refinished for me that he gave me. Damn I wish we had them all back still and every single post that was lost. Those times we can never get back. You wouldn't think that you'd have brothers you never even met personally.
