I have supposed unlimited upload abilities and still had to shrink down that picture of my Clayco before it would successfully upload. First two tries actually said upload successful but no picture appeared. Shrunk it to under 1meg and there it is.
Try that, unless you are already trying to upload a small to medium size photo.
Oh, when you are trying to post from a URL, I found you must uncheck the box marked "Retrieve remote file and reference locally"
That one took me a few tries to figure out.
Just taking a guess as I know you are one of the better posters here, so if you are having a problem...
Hmmm. Looks like we can post pics just fine. Just have to keep them under 800 pixels x 800 pixels or somethink like that.

There is a size issue for many people, but before the upgrade not too long ago, as an admin I was able to upload any size photo. Actually it doesn't bother me as I would rather the pictures stay small and save bandwidth.

Today, I tried to upload 2 different pictures in different posts in the General Photo thread and NONE would upload.
The "Manage Attachments" box just goes blank white after clicking on "Upload".

Same problem. "Manage Attachments", box opens, click "Browse", then "Upload", and that box goes a blank, empty white.

This should have been posted months ago as (IIRC) Roger has set up a site where we can post our pictures in albums, then upload them to here.
When you open the album you want, find the image you want and "rt. clk" to open the menu and use "copy image link". You will have to manually enter the "IMG" tags and use the "[ ]" brackets.
That will give you this:
