Thanks guys. I've actually updated it since. I have a MOE grip and a Tango Down grip on it now. That thing is a fireball!

You've got to get one if you live in a SBR state. That's the best 200 dollars ever. Well, that and the one I spent on this one.

Maser, I believe the picture above originally posted by RJ Shooter properly demonstrates the theme of 'Black Rifle Porn'. Do you honestly believe painting your 10/22 black follows the same theme?

That's the one I would have purchased. One that takes Glock mags is the way to cool. That's cool. I kind of always wanted one as a truck gun.

I have a Vortex strikefire on my Robinson Arms M96. The 4 MOA dot is crisp, but when shooting in full sunlight, I need to set it on the highest brightness setting when using the red dot. It also has a green dot, and it remembers the last brightness setting before you turned it off. Supposedly, it has an 800 hour battery life on medium settings. I have owned mine for over a year and have not had to replace the battery yet. My strikefire has a battery saving auto-shutoff feature which turns the sight off after 2 hours. The newer version has a 6 hour shutoff, which seems like a better alternative. The sight has front and rear flip up lens cap covers which fit too tight. I had to take a dremel tool and trim a little plastic on the inside rim to make them snap closed without undue force. Other than that, it's a pretty good red dot for the price. Solidly built and Vortex has a lifetime guarantee. The sight also comes with a free high or low mount.

How does the folding stock on that feel? I'm thinking of getting one of those side-folders on my first ever AK instead of the under-folder to keep the compact package, but not wobble like the underfolder.

It's not bad. It's better than my Polish and Yugo underfolders. Thos have that squared off side pieces where this is more of a gentle roll of the steel. It doesn't bother me.

Cool. Thanks. I've been eyeballing one of arsenal's that has that kind of stock.
