Glad to be back, and some images of my pistol.

I was a member of the old site from way back in 1999.

wanted to show off my Champion and see if anyone else got one. This is the .223 model and I got it b/c its the closest thing I will ever have to a ak74 krink cost wise.

    and after a few mods.

The rear block was way thicker than I imagined. I used some hardware from an old versa-pod for the sling swivel, I love it, its quick detach sling, and i can unscrew the mount and remove it all in a few seconds.

Wondering whats the consensus on the .223 Romy pistol. I see everyone seems to love the Draco.

    Welcome back Mndfusion!!

Nice looking pistol. A few mods make all the difference, don't they?

Yes, they sure do, it really does shoot much better now. I just wish I still had those nice laminate hand guards. But, "they made me an offer I couldn't refuse" for the set.

There's some out there. You'll just have to look.

back! And I would just hit those handguards with some russian red stain and finish off with some polyurethane. You know - the denatured alcohol and rit dye stain?

I think I have a set of red romy furniture in a box somewhere. I'll have to dig it out and see if I like it.

Right now I just have the current set applied with some linseed oil. If I sanded the upper a bit I think I could at least get them to match.

Will still keep an eye out for the laminate. It sure did look good like that.

Heres an image of my sling mount. Hardware like I mentioned is off an old versipod. Quick detach button there, and whole mount unscrews and comes off in a couple secs.
