    $2 a gallon??

Here in PA near the site of the first commercial oil well they are putting in public pumps for cheap, clean burning motor fuel. $2 a gallon gasoline equivalent.
There will be another similar pump added soon 20 miles away in Athens PA. Marcellus CNG....!

If you can run CNG in your rig this pump is in Towanda, an hour and a half west of Scranton.

It's not, but Williams Petroleum and Chesapeake Energy are testing the idea to see if it will sell as a replacement fuel. These pumps will largely be used for CHK and Williams fleet vehicles but they will be publicly available.

Considering the connection type on LNG, I don't think it would even be possible to get any into a regular gas tank.

As far as the $2 price, that is really all it is worth. Your mileage goes down because the gas has less BTU potential than liquid fuels. It does burn cleaner.

True, but it was funny so I rolled with the comment.

The price shown is the GGE or gasoline Gallon Equivalent- the same BTU content of CNG as one would receive from a gallon of gasoline.

That's over two hours for me. I'll wait until it's on the east side of Scranton.

I wonder if I could fill my propane tanks there?

Propane is a refined NG that has a larger molecule and a higher BTU rating. Propane appliances and burners have a smaller orifice. If you use CNG in place of propane you have to re-jet or install the larger orifice to get the same BTU / HP output.

Starting to see more and more Fleet/construction vehicles using this fuel.

THey are quieter and cleaner BUT lack the power a diesel does, BUT I'm betting they improve on that too as time goes on.

from what I've seen , totally different engine setup.
a tri-axle running full bore uphill with a full load sounded like a lawnmower VS the noisy super smokey models.
