That's some really accurate AK ammo. I had just gotten in a 1200 round case of that and the noncorrosive Norinco steel core when ATF sent the letter out banning sale of the steel core to civilians. When Obma got elected the first time I sold it all for 75 cents a round to a dealer at a show. They turned around and sold it for a buck around plus tax.

    GASP!!!!

I'll be happy to take those off your hands if they're too scary for you. You never know when they're gonna jump in a gun all by themselves and shoot you in the eye, after all.

you still see that stuff floating around at shops upon occasion, I even see empty casings from it at the range sometimes.

I always have to wonder how low guys must be running on x39 to bust out the 20 year old norinco stuff

Still have 1100 rounds of Chinese steel core, copper washed on stripper clips....1000 rounds of Norinco copper washed in the yellow boxes when they first came out,...and then some plain old Russian in the white boxes.

I cut one of those bullets open once to see what was really inside. Steel core wrapped in lead, sealed in copper. I guess it depends on what your definition of "core" is as to what it's made of. Lots of it labeled "lead core", but had steel inside the lead.

That's why I cut one open. It said lead core but stuck to a magnet. Someone said that was because it was steel washed and I wanted to know for sure.

Wouldn't that be copper washed steel?
    Never saw any steel washed.
