I have heard the Korean made mags for the AK's are hit and miss. Not sure about the HK mags...but I would say its safe to assume the same thing.

When <www.whatacountry.com> reopens, check with them. They used to have genuine 30 round HK .308 mags, and they work. I think they were South African surplus. IIRC, they were soaked in grease, but clean up nice.

I did a review of them on the old board. They work well.

The 27 round CETMEs are good also but are hard to find now.

SA had a thing for quality higher cap mags...

Hey' anyone know if they sell poly mags for 308 Cetme? I have lots of the aluminum 20 rounders
that are hit or miss without some dremel work. I want to try steel when everything cools down.

Agreed with El Laton Caliente...............The South African mags work great and the South African surplus .308 was outstanding.
