    change is needed.

    nice guys always finish last.

why do we always have to be the nice guy?

every time there is a gun related tragedy in this country, you hear the same thing. the gun rights people have respect for the victims and mourn the loss, while the left immediately start beating the drum and pandering support for their agenda. "we" are always writing our representatives telling them that we oppose all of the anti-2a bills introduced by "them". "they" are constantly using any thing they can to their advantage. constantly putting up bill after bill in the hopes that one sticks.

we are always on the defensive. a battle is never won with defense. why are WE not on the offensive?

when there is a gun tragedy in a gun free zone, why are WE not IMMEDIATELY clamoring to eliminate these gun free zones? why are we not constantly hounding representatives to repeal unconstitutional 2a infringements? why are WE not going on the offensive, putting them on the defensive, putting them in a position where they have to fight for their side, and not always pushing us around. why are there not 50 pro gun bills in washington, instead of 2 pro gun bills and 50 anti?

if we really want to protect our rights, we need to stop being reactive, and start being proactive.

dont just call your congressmen telling them "we dont like this bill" whenever one comes up, and not think about it the other 364 days of the year, we need to start hounding them CONSTANTLY to INTRODUCE pro gun bills. we need to be on the offensive. put THEM on the defensive.

things need to change, if you want to keep your rights in these times, with the uphill battle were facing. because right now, were playing to lose.

    Great idea!

The only problem might be that the MSM will ignore anything we have to offer. They'd much rather print all the "leftist" views and just ignore our views. It's going to be an uphill battle when the MSM is, solidly, in the other camp.

Even writing to "Letters to the Editor," they always stack it about 10-1 against pro-gun views, and claim the general public is 10-1 against guns.

Been saying that very thing on other boards, to my congress critters and in an E-mail to Meet the Press. For some reason congress critters and Meet the Press have not responded. Guess I've not been politically correct in asking that Gun Free Zones are the killers of children and unarmed teacherts will allow the killing to continue because they are not permitted to stop it.

fuck the media. if we keep pressuring our reps to initiate new pro gun legislation, and start actions to repeal current anti gun laws, and are successful,it will end up on the news. im sure they will still spin it as gun obsessed radicals, but the only bad press is no press. people will see whats going on and the movement will grow.
