Yugo M76 in .308
I am new to the site, and looking for advice.
I saw one of these on Gunbroker. It is a Yugo M76 in 308. It is made by Assault Weapons of Ohio. Anybody had any experience with them?

Welcome to the group !!!
While I don't have any info on the M76 for you, it sounds interesting. Hopefully someone who knows something about them will reply soon. Hang in, sometimes it takes a day or so to get a reply on a rifle that isn't that well known.

I have a Ohio Rapid Fire M76 in 8mm. Assault Weapons of Ohio is building on the same receivers. I've heard nothing bad about them. Bill "Gunsmoke" would be a good one to ask, but he doesn't log on but every once in a while...
As a shooter, I like my M76 as well or better than anything else...
Welcome to the Board!!! And com-block designated marksman rifles...

I feel kind of blessed. I also have a NDM 86 in 308. I need to get in touch with Bill about the firing pin mod. I shot it this weekend, and it is really sweet. I sent him a PM.
I had a couple of pierced primers with it, and it also has the CDNN mod done on it.
I wanted to get the Yugo 76 to compliment it. Mags are also a lot cheaper.

No one has posted any range reports on Accuaracy.
THEY just introduced 30-06 for the M76.

M76, great choice
I have the original one in 8mm. I did have some problems with the magazine not sitting properly. It was a century build. After getting it straightened out, it proves to be far more accurate than my SA - 93. If there is a 30-06, I'd recommend considering that unless you get a great deal.
Here's a link to great scopes more affordable and just as good as kalinka.

I have the same username on photobucket and YouTube.
There is nothing wrong with 308. I figure why not get the biggest bang for your buck.
