Very cool!

Mine is still in original condition. I'd like to put the rail on top and bottom, do the low profile charging handle, and add the kydex cheek piece.

I'll probably forgoe any barrel shortening or adding any cooling slots. I'd like to just buy the parts and do what I can do myself at home.

He typically has quite a backlog and will take a couple months if you want them to do it but can get the parts out quickly ... I had a local machine shop do the slotting and barrel shortening ... I'm tempted to get K&M's trigger set too but haven't done it yet.

Midwest Distributors had them as trade-in's a while back for $599 with the box and they were like NIB ... I didn't like it on the gun I had bought it for so it had taken up residence on the shelf and when I needed an optic for this M17S, I tried it and it was good.

Midwest Distributors had them as trade-in's a while back for $599 with the box and they were like NIB ... I didn't like it on the gun I had bought it for so it had taken up residence on the shelf and when I needed an optic for this M17S, I tried it and it was good.

That prices is about half of the retail price. You got a good deal.

I think apex makes a trigger upgrade for those.
