Nice! Blue steel, wood and Buck knives. Iconic American even if the HP isn't.

An interesting factoid about duct tape. A university did a study of all the things duct tape will hold to and they found the only thing it didn't stick to was a duct. I tried it on some of my duct work that needed patching and it fell off about a day later. They should rename it, "duck tape" as it will stick to duck feathers.

Heard this on Car Talk radio program a few weeks ago.

Thanks bud. I thought you might get a kick out of that stuff.

I feel like the Browning is classic Americana even if it is made in Belgium. Heck, even Serpico carried a HP.

Is the pistol in the lower center of the pic a Browning Hi-Power?

    Yep, that's a Browning.

Not sure what "type" it is, although it is from the 80's and was made in Belgium.

New shoulder rig for the Hi-power along with some mec-gar (OEM) 20 round magazines. This setup is for floppy slottin' from concealment in Rhodesia.

I like that setup a lot. FWIW I picked up a set of these NOS stocks from Buds for my Hi-Power and the difference is amazing. It feels so much thinner and real grippy.

In all seriousness though Schuetzenman, that looks to be a beautiful stock, what does it weigh, kind of groups does a 54 caliber BP gun shoot, and at what distance?
