    Need help with who made this ak drum.

    I'm looking to buy and seller says it's Chinese or Romanian.It looks like the Korean ones u can buy today.Says he bought in 1997.

    Also looking at this drum but not sure if it's 7.62 or 223 drum.

    Chinese and has the Polytec sping retained winding key. Looks 7.62x39 to me...

    The linked photo looks to be a different drum... looked again, it is....

    The mag tower is different, the winding key is different and not spring loaded, there is an added assembly below the mag tower...

    Pictures of two different drums i'm looking at.First is 7.62x39.Just don't know origin of who made it.Second is a polytech i think.Just looking for help identifying them.

    The easiest way to tell Chinese drums apart, the .223/5.56x45 drum has two scroll "bumps" in the front, the 75 round 7.62x39 has three and the 100 round 7.62x39 has four. There is almost no way to tell them apart in pictures of the key side of the drum. It is the forward side that tells all, or at least the inside.

    The drum in the plastic appears to have three rings, making it a 75 round 7.62x39.
