    metal ProMag AK mags?

    i was considering listing my unused Promag AK mags on GunBroker and was checking prices when i ran across these......

    since when did Promag make METAL AK mags? this is news to me. and were/are they any good?

    how much were you considering for your mags?

    and no i thought promags were a poly type thinggy.

    they did want 50? apeice.

    see, that's where i am in a quandary. they used to be cheap, like $10 cheap. but now nobody has 'em yet i still don't think they are worth much. and i'm not insane enough to think that they would support an auction start price of $20 and up. some guys think $40 is good but guess what, they aren't selling.

    i've got like 8-10 of 'em in various colors that are just collecting dust. in fact i'm really leaning towards listing a lot of stuff from my "box o' doom" like holsters and various odd parts and stuff.

    maybe i'll make a buck, who knows?

    id steer clear of them. never had one of those, but i did have quite a few promag pistol mags. total pieces of shit. their stampings are horrible and have very wide tolerances. i wouldnt expect these to be any better.

    that's kinda why i don't wanna sell them here to "friends".

    Put them up with a starting price of $1 buck but have a reserve cost set for what you want out of each one as a minium. Some uninformed types might go ape-shit in a bidding war.
