so i was going thru some odds and ends stuff and found some ProMag 30rd AKM x39 mags gathering dust that i am leaning towards listing them on Gunbroker to offload them. but in the process i found another walmart sack with another handful of poly mags, but these are totally unmarked. i mean totally! i tore one down and nothing is marked, not the floorplate, spring bottom plate, follower or mag body. not even a number or a symbol or nuthin'.
the only difference between a known Promag and the unmarked ones are a witness hole on the spine. oh, and the nub that you depress to slip off the floorplate has a hole in it. here's some pics. maybe someone has some insight.
and no, they do not hold the bolt open.
the mag on the left is the unmarked one, on the right is a known Promag.
ideas? anyone?
