Like it or not, he has the Constitutional authority to stop importation of guns, ammo, and parts.

I told people back after Newtown that I thought Obama was waiting for the congress to fail to pass gun control bills.
He would then step in with Executive Orders to stop importation, and claim he was "forced to act" because the evil Republicans stopped "reasonable" controls.

The only fly in the Presidential ointment is that the gun bills were killed by DEMOCRATS.
However, expect the Dims to try to blame it all on the Republicans and the willing Press to push that story.
