Cool what should I get next?

    just got my 3rd glock

Getting $9k from a car accident, some tard ran a light and plowed me on 249.

Gonna spend $1000-$1200 on a new gun.

    Currently all I have is colt 6920, zastava ak 762, glock 26, 17, 20.

a semi benelli m1, m2, m3 (the latter really appeals to me. I could load up/buy low powered shells and use the pump option)

another ar? still havent shot the one I got now due to the rediculous cost of ammo for that.

Another ak? ammo for that is still cheap, relatively speaking. My ak has a full stock, maybe get a folder?

A glock 19 would round out my 9 collection. (Can share mags with the others, big plus there) and a rem 870?

dont really wanna get into another cal, but a gen4 glock 21 sounds appealing also

    What to do?

I sold a model a imi a while back It was a fun gun.
Dont think an imi would be in the budget.
I like having several guns that take the same mag, is why im considering another 9

Silencers aint really silent, unless in a 22
but I could pay for a trust and get a short bbl for my colt or sbs an 870. I had one of those before, was pretty sweet. Had the aforementioned uzi sbr'd too.

I noticed colt 6900s closeout for $900 but it has that gaudy freefloat bbl.
    Still a hella deal

Do you have any credit card debt or other loans? Pay those off first. You'll save money in the end.

Having no Glocks myself, I was wanting both a 26 and a 34 this year. The 26 for concealed carry and the 34 for home defense or tactical use.

In my line of thinking, If I am relying on the 26 for concealed carry, why would I have a 19 as well? And If I can consistently carry a 19, why bother with a 26?

So unless I had a specific role for the 19 to fill besides "rounding out my collection", I would snag a 34 and enjoy it perfect compatibility with the 17, as well as its longer sight radius and overall cooler look IMO because of the extra length and the slide cut-out.

So. Putting a suppressor on your Colt will make it sound more like a .22LR. Huntertown Arms offers an AR suppressor for $500 MSRP.

Or you could get a lone wolf threaded barrel for the G17 and put a 9mm suppressor on it. Once again, Huntertown Arms has a 9mm pistol suppresor with the required booster for recoiled operated pistols (Glock) for $350.

I only bring those two up because I have been wanting to try them myself.

Sure their not silent but they sure are nice. Ear splitting becomes like a .22 LR going off. If you're not under a tin roof I'd call most .223 rifles with a good suppressor Ear Safe. A suppressed .22 LR is like a pellet gun, almost Holloywood quiet when you use subsonic ammo.

Alternate idea, a 17 long slide, though if you don't have a 19 I can see getting one of those.

Talk of eliminating the trust "loophole" has me leery.
    My cleo here wont sign.

Maybe the benelli m4? Nobody a fan of a semi tac shotty?
(After seeing them in 3gun action I can see its usefulness in a shtf scenario.)
    buds has some for $1700.
But I would likely sell the 26 to help fund it

I have a G19 that hasn't seen the light of day in awhile. Great gun. Same size as my G23.

Actually I don't see the need for a shotgun other than blasting flying critters out of the sky. Anything the shotgun can do an AK or AR can do with the possible exception of door breeching. A 12 ga. is good for blasting out locks. That said you don't need to buy a 1700 buck shotgun to door breech. Ammo is always very heavy, you can probably get 5 or 6 rounds of .223 for every round of 12 ga. My 2 cents.

for a barricaded situation where they're coming to you a shotguns hard to beat. Not to mention slugs versatility for medium to large sized game, penetrating car doors. takingDuck, goose, dove..

And im in a suburban situation where an errant 762 or 556 round could penetrate a neighbors house

    Honestly..

If i had $1200 right now I'd buy a nice Winchester model 7 with a few 15rd mags and all the crap to make some .351SLR .

Don't feel bad about buying a pistol almost $1k ..

Have you given any thought into entering another aspect of this wonderful hobby....Reloading?

Or, for $1200, you could get a Glock 19 and a .22 Suppressor.

    Good Luck on your choice!

Getting in to reloading would be a good use of the money if he isn't already. Good idea. He could get a 550 B or even the 650, dies for all his calibers and components.

Plus, he'd have the enjoyment and satisfaction of rolling his own, not to mention cost savings from the ridiculous ammo prices these days.
