Adolph Topperwein and his wife used to do a lot of stunt shots like that around the same time frame. Shooting cigarettes out of each others mouths, etc. IIRC though they did some of it will looking into a mirror and shooting over their shoulder. Not the smartest thing in my book but like the cops in the video, no one got hit. Wonder how far away the shooter in the police video was from the people holding the "targets"? Some of the bullets got pretty close to that one guys ears and the others mouth/hands.
