    Magazine Soup!

I made magazine soup last night. I took apart my mil-surplus M1 Carbine mags that I had bought a while back and put them into a new stainless stell pan I bought at Walmart. I then filled the pan with water and brought it to a boil and then simmered the mags pieces for 10 minutes. At the end of that time the water had a wierd yellow tint to it and the majority of the cosmoline had liquified off of the mags. I then took them out and wiped them off, it worked great. Sprayed a little Rem Oil on them and they look almost brand new. Another bonus to this was that one of the magazines had packing tape residue on it where someone had bound a few mags together. That came write off in the hot water. Thanks for the idea Stinker.

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.

Add an industrial strength Orange Cleaner to the boiling water and it works even better...
We found out what "dealing" with progressive lefties is all about. Our side gives up something, they give up nothing and the progressives come back in a month or a year and want us to give up more... rinse and repeat...

Worked like a charm. I checked the mags last night when I got home and no rust on them at all. Even the ones that most of the blueing has worn off of are shiny. I am pretty happy with the results.
